Is there a written test?
The American Heart Association (AHA) courses consider a passing score as 84% or higher. We will do our best to prepare you for the written exam and do offer remediation and retesting to help you achieve 84% or higher on AHA courses.
Will I have to actually perform the skills like chest compressions?
Successful completion of most courses requires that students demonstrate the various skills. IF you are not able to demonstrate these skills, we do offer and advisor card.
What are the course payment options?
Your course registration is not considered complete until payment is received. We accept debit/credit card payments through Square. We do not accept personal checks unless approved in advance. You will be invoiced by email with a link to complete payment when your course is scheduled.
Course cost? Why does someone else offer a cheaper rate? Do you price match?
We offer quality and effective education. To do this we provide instructors with many years of experience in emergency and critical care medical education. Our equipment is state of the art equipment to provide hands on and realistic simulation scenarios. Even medical training equipment can be very expensive to purchase and maintain. We are aware that there are other avenues that offer similar courses for a much cheaper rate, and historically we have found that you do get what you pay for. Sadly, there are people who are not AHA instructors that offer fake courses and provide fake certification cards. Some people do not use the required high fidelity simulation equipment. Often times we get phone calls from someone who has been scammed and provided with a fake certification card. We offer certifications cards the same day and you will leave the course with certification in hand. Tiffany and company offers a 14K gold paperclip, and it sells for $1500. This too seems pricy, but they understand the value of the product they offer. We too understand the value of quality education that we provide. Because of this we are not able to price match quotes from other places.
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
Refunds are available if request is made 14 or more days in advance and will incur a $10 cancellation fee. No refunds if the course date is less than 14 days. If you must cancel or reschedule less then 14 days in advance, you may transfer that credit to another person or course.
Weather, Natural Disaster, and Cancellations
While we try to stick to our planned schedule, there may be times of bad weather, uncontrollable acts from mother nature, and otherwise dangerous conditions. If this happens, we will be in communication with you and plan to reschedule.
Do you sell AED’s & CPR equipment?
We do not sell equipment at this time. We provide all of the equipment needed to complete the training. While we do have several local contacts, we can put you in touch with, our focus remains on educating the people. Our commitment to reducing the numbers remains with the people.
